Default Man, I'm sick of Tanned Hide Squares

I'm currently at Beacon's Perch, and man, if I see one more tanned hide square from my expert salvage kit, I'm going to cry! Does it ever get better? I've got a mountain of these things and can't get into my door, LOL.

There. I feel so much better now.

Sell them off to the traders, when they are at a reasonable price.

Tanned hides are one of the better common crafting materials you can get.

Have them all crafted into leather squares.

Sell full stacks of them (250) for big prices. People will generally pay more if they are all together because they like doing it all at once, instead of separate.

Yay for lazy people.

keep in mind that if you are a ranger....this is a VERY important material for you.

otherwise have them crafted into leather squares like sofonisba said.

For a Ranger Wood is the most important. Wood for druid armor, which is my favorite ranger armor. Don't sweat it too much. Common crafting material is actualy very good money.

I've put pretty much all materials I've ever salvaged into the Xunlai storage. Eventually you'll likely have 4 characters that need materials for Droknar's set and possibly also 15k, FoW and lower armor class sets. When that time comes you'll be glad you didn't sell your planks, squares and ingots for a new sword or a vial of dye.

Same here. My storage is full of only crafting materials salvaged/collected by my 4 characters and my husband's character (we consolidated to save storage space). We're keeping them because I know our characters need them for armor. We're also using my storage for the the 'Huh?' rare materials (monstrous claws, monstrous eyes, etc). We're hoping there'll be a use for them.

There sure are alot of different crafting materials to store.

I've even had to make a character that just carries trading and crafting materials which I sell you can make okay money that way... and it helps save space.

Be sure to check the difference between the salvage with a regular and an expert salvage kit. On half eaten masses I get 2-3 tanned hides or bones regardless of which I use. I save my expert for highly salvagable items or items with upgrades.

Early after the game was released, my first character found a Superior Vigor somewhere in Kryta and exp. salvaged the armor into a few tanned hide squares. So yeah, I'm sick of them too.

We only use expert kits after the salvage armor numbers get above 20.

We have a third account, 3 chars there are storage girls and the bank. Two for arms and power thingys, runes etc. We have over 250 dyes.

One just for resouces.

Not only do we supply our guild. We make mass money selling off the spares.

Rits need the claws or the fangs for armor... I think necros use eyes and claws for canthan 1.5k armor.
